Please note that Adore India volunteering is not a specified period internship. It is a committed and devoted contribution towards the country and society that we belong to.
What does Adore India do? Adore India motivates the youth to work for the betterment of the society and the country. It’s a network of youth who are working for the development and betterment of the society and country. It is neither govt. nor private, but a voluntary network.
What are the volunteers required to do? The volunteers form Adore India groups in schools in their city/town/locality and motivate them to work for the community, to become better and responsible citizens and students.
What is the location of work? Volunteers are required to work in their respective towns/cities where they are studying/working. Only local schools have to be selected for volunteering. We do not want volunteers to spend too much time on commuting.
What are the timings and activities? There are no fixed working hours or stipulations. Volunteers have to coordinate the time with their career plan and suitability of school children. A few hours per week is all that is needed.
How do we contact the students for forming the groups? You have to approach schools, colleges, Teachers known to you, other students in your locality and also parents. It is a gradual process which depends on your hard work and creativity.
What benefit do the volunteers get? They do not get any monetary benefits. But they get immense happiness and satisfaction for being able to contribute to the nation and society. It is our responsibility towards the nation in its betterment and development. We do not want volunteers who are only interested in certificate for the social work done by them in the service of Mother India.
What is the duration of volunteering? We encourage volunteers to work for as long as possible. Since it is a part-time volunteering work, you can always be associated with it forever as responsible citizen of India.
Where is Adore India office? The Administrative office is in Kolkata. Our volunteers are in over 35 cities of India.
